The extension does not begin retrieving usage data until the user reads the in-extension disclosure and clicks Enable live usage.

While ChatGPT is open, the extension uses the user's existing signed-in ChatGPT session to request the usage-limit information displayed by ChatGPT. The request is made only tohttps://chatgpt.com/ over HTTPS.

The ChatGPT access token is held temporarily in the ChatGPT page's memory, sent only back to ChatGPT, and never stored, logged, or transmitted to the extension developer or another service. Only sanitized usage information is passed to the isolated extension: percentage used or remaining, reset timing, limit status, and available credit information when returned. The extension does not read or collect conversation content.

Chrome local extension storage is used for:

• the user's consent choice;
• the latest usage percentage and reset time;
• the most recent usage error; and
• the panel's saved position, size, and full or compact state.

This information stays in the user's Chrome profile and is retained until overwritten, cleared by the user, or removed with the extension. The developer has no access to it.

No user data is sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, or used for any purpose unrelated to displaying ChatGPT usage. The extension contains no analytics, tracking, advertising identifiers, ad-network scripts, remote configuration, or remote code.

The support page does not contact Ko-fi automatically. Ko-fi is contacted only after the user deliberately clicks the external contribution button; Ko-fi's privacy policy then applies. ClickingContact developer opens the user's email application and does not send a message automatically.

All data transmitted by the extension is sent over HTTPS. The extension's use of information obtained through browser permissions complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
